The first test of the new technology took place at the Fix club in Thessaloniki, a well-known venue which hosts many celebrated Greek vocalists. Since then, the Vi6 console has been used for a variety of applications, from classical music to television production. Sofia Vossou, a Greek singer and former Eurovision contestant famous for her interpretation of modern Greek music, and folk maestro George Katsaros have both made use of the desk in their live concerts.
The console has played its part in several popular television productions at Alter Channel, a private TV station, including Jungle and The Party of Your Life. And to underline its versatility, it has been used to mix the Philharmonic Orchestra of Athens at an outdoor concert in the centre of the city.
