Neutrik UK Ltd started on the Island in August 1986 in an array of small manufacturing and office units at Cowes, followed by an expansion move to Binstead in 1991. Further extensions to the product range soon followed, together with Neutrik's global flagship product range of professional audio connectors. Continued success and product range growth meant that the company soon out-grew both its Cowes and Binstead facilities, at which point the decision was taken to re-locate once again to purpose-built premises.
In the summer of 2002, the new director team at Neutrik, with full support from the parent company in Liechtenstein made the ultimate statement in confidence in both their 108 strong (and rising) Island workforce and Island business support structure by commencing the design and build of their new factory on the outskirts of Ryde. This new facility provides increased storage and manufacturing capabilities, improved staff facilities and ample room for further expansion. The new factory stands on only half the total land area (3.66 acres) purchased by Neutrik UK, enabling a further 100% of expansion in the future, when necessary, say the company.
