KV2 CEO Jonathan Reece-Farren commented: "The new brand image was tried out at Frankfurt last year and everyone loved it and this has now been rolled out into the new brochure and website to reflect our intention to align the image of the brand alongside the high level perception that our products enjoy, something that hasn't necessarily been the case in the past and it was about time to change.
"The website is easier to navigate and provides a very simple format in which to store a large amount of information whilst looking fantastic. And the brochure is similar. It's packed with all the technical information about our product ranges, but it's written in an interesting manner infused with the ethos of the company."
The EX6 active loudspeaker system, launched in Frankfurt at the start of the year, received its official UK debut. The EX6 produces full range 2-way sound reproduction punching far above its weight, says the company.
For the second year, KV2 Audio has recognised and honoured the achievements of the companies that have worked most diligently on its behalf, as operations director Andy Simmons explains: "The awards highlight two companies where KV2 is really being pushed and its paying off for both sides; they're implementing great installations and creating very happy customers, whilst the profile of KV2 is continually being raised. It's working very well for all."
Receiving the award for KV2 Dealer of the year were Peter Butler & Neil Muir of A.C. Lighting's Audio division. They agree that the KV2 alliance is a beneficial partnership, as Peter explains, "On behalf of A.C. Audio we're delighted to win this award. KV2 are a great team to work with, the products are unique, exciting and really stand out, whilst being straightforward for our customers to use and install.
"Testament to this is our success with the ES range in mid sized venues and Theatres. In all cases our clients listened to alternative solutions from various manufacturers and KV2 came out top in every instance, based on satisfying each client's unique set of requirements. We are really positive about our relationship and are looking forward to continue developing future business working alongside KV2."
KV2 Audio's Installer of the Year award went to Dynamic Productions. Directors Michael McGuigan and Graeme Anderson jointly collected the award, earned through a dedication to the brand which has manifested KV2 installations such as Oddfellows, The Cave, The Hive and Ego, throughout Edinburgh and Scotland.
On receiving the award, Anderson confirmed, "From our first experience of KV2 products we were completely stunned by what we heard and have received incredible responses from those using the product, with everyone focusing on the system clarity maintained at high output levels."
