UK - Hayden Laboratories Ltd - exclusive UK distributor for Denon pro audio products - has announced the launch of the Denon DN-C635 CD player.

The machine is a user-researched update to the industry standard DN-C630 CD player, offering numerous enhanced features. It is suitable for multi-purpose applications, particularly in the broadcast (major broadcasters continue to commit to using Denon playback equipment), theatre, AV install, live sound, museum, attractions and exhibitions sectors, and also for DJs and recording studio.

Key features of the new system are CD/CDR/CDR-W; MP3 playback, CD text support, RS232/422 serial port, 25-pin GPI parallel port and ‘auto power up’ in Play Repeat modes. This latter feature will be invaluable for museums & attractions shows, exhibition stands and transmitter sites. The DNC-635 is also a great installation device, due to its flexible RS232 serial control facility, making it compatible with Creston, AMX and CUE show controllers on training room, lecture room, boardroom and theatre installs.

Other important features include MP3 playback with folder search, instant start/cue to music/autocue, finish modes including Stop/Next/Re-cue, XLR outputs, Spdif Digital out, 1 or All track repeat, +/- 12% playback speed control, Sleep mode (which lengthens the DNC-635’s laser life), 10 seconds of shock proof memory, continuous and single play mode, Program play (which includes up to 99 tracks) and Fader Start.
