Australia - The Australian entertainment technology trade show ENTECH will see its tenth event in 2010 with "a new event director, a rebranded image and a new commitment to industry networking and education".

Robby Clark of Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF) is the newly-appointed event director. He brings over 13 years of experience in the exhibitions industry, including the successful management of the world's top ten motoring events, the Australian International Motor Show and major national trade shows including AUSPACK and Irrigation Australia.

Clark said he was looking forward to building on ENTECH's history of successful events. "ENTECH has established itself as the leading trade show for professionals in the entertainment technology industry and I look forward to a new challenge in managing the 2010 event."

"It seems that in the past the event has been fortunate enough to have fewer competitors and we recognise the need to make it bigger and better than ever in its tenth year. As per our face-to-face meetings earlier in the year with the industry, we have promised a number of new commitments to the industry for the 2010 event. These include spending 50% more on our visitor marketing campaign, targeting the harder-to-attract sectors within the industry and adding more networking functions and educational seminars to benefit all stakeholders."

The 2010 event will feature a new visual identity through the rebranding of the show elements and logo. "Next year's event represents a significant step forward for the show and it was agreed that the look and feel should be updated to represent our commitment to the industry and those within it," continued Clark. "This new identity is bold and dynamic and promotes ENTECH's progressive image well."

ENTECH founder and head of Julius Media, Julius Grafton welcomed the new direction established by ETF and said Clark's experience would be invaluable.

ENTECH 2010 will take place at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, from the 15-17 February.
