UK - Two well-known figures of the pro audio industry, Barry Revels and Craig Lovell, have made a significant investment in Bel Digital Audio Ltd, resulting in the formation of the Bel Digital Group holding company.

The new holding company will also include British manufacturer 4HM Limited, which specializes in MADI related equipment for the professional audio, broadcast and live industries, allowing the merging the Bel and 4HM brands.

This combination results in a significant expansion of non-overlapping, yet complementary, products and will deliver the associated benefits to product development from significant investment in R&D and the adoption of new technologies.

The enhanced management team is excited by the opportunity afforded to take the well-respected Bel brand forward, with new products that will benefit wider market segments. The combined companies and their products also bring greater stability, more flexibility and faster time to market for new product development.

The Bel brand has been synonymous with quality for over 40 years, supplying many of the world's major recording studios with effects racks and samplers until the mid 1990s, then adapting the product range to provide broadcasters throughout the world with delays, layoff recorders and now a comprehensive range of in-rack monitoring solutions.

"The Bel and 4HM brands are known and respected throughout the world, and it's a privilege to be in a position to combine these British brands under the new Bel Digital Group," says Craig. "The formation of the Bel Digital Group enables us to enhance the Bel brand further with an ever increasing range of audio products, including the existing MADI and forthcoming Audio Over IP units. This means that we are in a position to offer a significant and expanding portfolio to our channel partners and our end customers."

"It's exciting to bring these two product lines together as one," adds Barry. "We can now provide both companies' customers with a truly comprehensive offering."
