UK - LSI Sales & Distribution has announced the formation of a UK national distributor network for its ADB range of controls, dimming and luminaires. "This is a major step forward for both LSI and ADB in the UK," says LSI's UK sales manager Andy Trevett. "We now have a consolidated network of distributors throughout the UK, from Scotland to the West Country, all of whom are industry professionals and who will operate as a team to promote and support our products. It will give fresh impetus to our current sales strategy as well as providing local technical support for our customers. This is just the beginning," added Trevett, "To date our distributor network comprises nine companies with further agreements to be concluded over the coming months, including companies based in Ireland."

Those Industry professionals which are part of the LSI-ADB Distributor Network include: Blacklight (Scotland), Hi-Lights Theatre Services (North East), Flashlight (North West), Hawthorn Theatrical (Midlands), Knight International (East Anglia), White Light (London), 10 out of 10 Productions (South East), Stagecraft (Central Southern) and Warwick Corporate Events (South West), as well as existing stockists, A.C. Lighting.

"This is a comprehensive group of companies with whom we will be working, combining established rental and sales houses with younger ambitious firms, giving us a good balance overall," said Trevett, "In return, with the recent launch of ADB's revolutionary new range of manual and motorised Warp spotlights, as well as their new mid range control desk 'Mentor', it is an ideal time and opportunity for our network members to establish their position as ADB distributors."

Trevett further explained that this was just the beginning, as LSI intends throughout 2005 to make other unique products available via their Distributor network, such as the ultra modern Computerised Stage Management System 'ARC' - a joint development between LSI and Alnetronic of Germany.

Continuing, Trevett made clear that in support of the new distributor network, in early spring, LSI - ADB will be launching a series of road shows around the country, each one being hosted by the relevant stockist. The idea being to give the end user the opportunity to experience first hand the excellent build quality, performance and flexibility of the comprehensive range of ADB products.

A profile of Belgium-based manufacturer ADB appeared in the March 2004 issue of Lighting&Sound International magazine and can be viewed online here.
