Systems Workshop's current distribution portfolio includes Fohhn loudspeaker systems, Vicoustic acoustic solutions, Tube-Tech valve processors and Schertler contact microphones, amplifiers and guitars.
Managing director Phil Beaumont commemnts, "Our brands increasingly require dedicated demo space that dealers can visit for a true evaluation of their capabilities. For example, to fully appreciate products like Vicoustic's Wave Wood really means experiencing the panel installed in an actual listening space, where it has been specifically positioned to fit the acoustic requirements of the room.
"The same is true of Fohhn loudspeakers, especially the new Linea Focus electronically steerable range, whose control capabilities are best discovered in a hands-on capacity. We have also recently received an unprecedented number of enquiries about Schertler guitars and we will have instruments available for visitors to evaluate, prior to making an actual decision to buy.
"Despite a general decline in recording studio activity over recent years, Forge Studio has always maintained a regular and diverse client base ranging from artists such as Ian Brown and Francis Dunnery to our most recent album recording sessions with the internationally renowned Fron Male Voice Choir. But the need for training and demo space has now become a greater priority, hence our decision to move forward with this latest project."
The planned development follows Systems Workshop's recent acquisition of an additional warehousing facility in Oswestry to accommodate a growing number of new products within the various brands. The new showroom is expected to be operational from August.
