Ken Berreen, regional sales manager of Barndoor BV, representing Strand, said: "We were extremely pleased with the stand created by Northern Light for our participation in PLASA 06. The inclusion of a bar and seating area made sure that visitors felt secure enough to stay on stand as long as they wanted. The trussing and rostra enabled us to display our products to their best advantage."
Strand took the opportunity to display their new Palette range of consoles, which replace the 300 range of lighting desks. The company also introduced a 6 x 2.5kW Wallrack to increase the range of mid-priced Wallrack dimmers.Other items on show included Strand's new range of "stick" dimmers - 6 x 2.5kW IGBT dimmers and 3 x 5kW IGBT dimmers complete with full DMX input addressing.
Colin Cuthbert, managing director at Northern Light, said: "Although creating exhibition space for anyone but ourselves is a fairly new area for us, our Events team were delighted to customise Strand's exhibition space at PLASA. Given Northern Light's reputation for quality installations and excellent customer service, the events market is a logical area of expansion for the company."
