Visitors are urged to take their seats early.
UK - As registration continues to increase ahead of next week's Event Production Show, the latest announcement from organiser, Mash Media is the series of sessions planned for the inaugural Production Area, the dedicated space for discussing practical, 'how to' ideas for staging events.

Set to become the information hub of the Show, the first day's workshops in the Production Area will focus on recent legislative changes and legal compliances. Speakers from NOEA, Browne Jacobson, Reuben Feels and the National Caterers Association (NCASS) will present interactive panel debates on the new Purple Guide (Event Safety Guide), licensing, police costs, best practice in experiential advertising and using storytelling to engage an audience.

On day two, experts from George P Johnson, the Production Services Association and Star Events Group will lead 45 minute 'how to' sessions for event organisers. Designed to be useful and practical, this series will cover writing a production brief that translates client objectives into deliverable and measurable results; reducing your fuel bill and power use at festivals; compiling a good safety file including your H&S policy, emergency and fire risk assessments and briefing and selecting your suppliers and contractors to ensure the best possible results.

Donna Bushell, event director, commented, "We're really excited about the Production Area as we believe it adds a different dimension to the show. Each of the sessions will be led by experts in their field and offer an unrivalled opportunity to pose questions and share experiences. We urge visitors to take their seats early as we anticipate the Production Area will be packed."
