Newly-promoted operations director, Susan Hall
UK - Paradigm Audio Visual has undertaken a major internal restructure following founder Greg Jeffreys' decision to return to the coal face, taking over the day-to-day running of the company as Managing Director.

Jeffreys' immediate strategy has been to divide the company into autonomous focused divisions, promoting Susan Hall, who has been with Paradigm for 10 years, to operations director for the whole group. Fresh from securing another successful ISO 9000 audit, she will now take charge of all logistics, while joining her as assistant is new recruit Amanda Goggins.

At the same time, Paradigm invested heavily in IT to improve its CAD and process capabilities in anticipation of its relocation to the new Bedfordshire base which has three times the existing capacity.

"This provides us with expanded evaluation and demonstration facilities for our traditional and new simulation display business and at the same time it will release capacity for our new sales force - which is key to our expansion drive - to do their jobs."

To that end Paradigm AV has promoted Dave Stephen to account manager for Paradigm's expanding product portfolio, but keeping his special interest in the dnp Supernova business, reporting to sales director, Mick Perrone.

Stephen has secured substantial orders from London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Schools, with over 200 Supernova Core optical projection screens - one of the largest single-source supplies in Paradigm's history - which will be distributed to classrooms across their estate and now standardising on throughout.

Finally, with Paradigm registering a new URL (www.paradigm.com) in line with these developments, the company has recruited Andy Eardley as its new IT & marketing services support. Eardley will be responsible for all aspects of digital marketing and communications, as well as database management.

Summarising the new set-up, Greg Jeffreys said, "This investment in human resource is designed to manage future growth, which will really come into its own now we are settling into the new place. I am raising the bar, and want to bring people on by enabling them to fulfill their potential. But our recruitment drive is far from over."
