Touch247 is a one-stop solution at the top end of the digital display market, enabling estate agents to sell properties by customer screen interaction. The system delivers a clearer, punchier screen image than other projected displays or plasma screens. The high specification of projector and screen components in Touch247 delivers exceptional levels of picture contrast and anti-reflectivity and so ensures that prospective buyers can always view the properties regardless of the time of night or day.
The system itself comprises a high contrast dynamic display, rear projection screen with purpose-designed display software and optional touch-screen interactivity. Between the shop window and the projection screen lies a unique touch-glass interactive element. This turns the entire image area into an interactive display, utilised to full effect by the software.
The PaperView self-contained rear projection displays mark a development of Paradigm's market-leading rear projection Easy-Erect Rig systems. Long been an essential aid to pro-AV installers, PaperView adds the element of integrated screen and projector so the units can be sold as complete large screen monitors to end users who might find conventional rear projection systems difficult to understand.
Units are available in all sizes from 60in to 200in screen size - 4:3 and widescreen screen ratios. Paradigm will be showing a 100" unit, boasting an image width of 2m, yet with only 1.2m complete depth.
The InVizible Swing Out Wall Mount offers an elegant 'built-in' solution for mounting plasma displays in the wall. Unlike most in-wall mounts this is a complete system that is easy to install, operate and service.
The system's hinged 'fold-out' mounting arm (which extends through 55°) allows easy access to the rear and side of the flat panel display for service and cable connections. The uniquely-designed 'ductless' cooling system draws cool air from the bezel's bottom edge, circulating the air throughout the enclosure and sending the warm air out at the bezel's upper edge.
For the rental staging market Paradigm are releasing an ingenious, self-contained high-contrast optical display based on their proven rear-projection technology. Trojan comes in several sizes but the top-of-the-range 90in model has been designed to fit into a standard Mercedes Sprinter Hi-Top van.
Trojan is a roll-around, pop-up, large screen display, producing a bright, full 90in unbroken image in native 4:3 aspect ratio. The retractable system is designed to roll into position on rails, pull-up and switch on - all inside two minutes. Trojan also features a patch panel on the side for easy connection to video or PC sources, a drawer to hold the remote control and forklift channels for easy handling. There are also options for built-in speakers, amplifiers, DVD, PC etc.
While this display is designed around the Sanyo XP56 projector, fitted with 1.3-1.8:1 short throw zoom, Paradigm will launch a 110in 16:9 widescreen version early in the new year, using the cost-effective Panasonic 7000 3-chip DLP projector.
This is the first time that Paradigm has exhibited at ISE. Director Greg Jeffreys says: "I have attended the show in previous years to run courses for InfoComm (formerly the ICIA). Last year's show had a buzz like I had not seen in many a year. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many senior figures from the UK AV business there. So to exhibit this year was an easy decision. Not only can we see many of our UK clients, but we also can meet new overseas dealers and distributors for our products."
