The contract was awarded by Entry Point North (EPN) - an international Air Traffic Management Academy approved by the Civil Aviation Authorities in Scandinavia.
Although Micro Nav had not previously worked with Paradigm they were keen to collaborate when the right project came along. "We considered using other suppliers for this contract," says project manager Jackie Friberg, "but after meeting with various different companies, we opted to work in partnership with Paradigm for the delivery of these two large towers."
The requirement from EPN was that the display solution should be "at least as good" as the existing systems, whereupon Micro Nav conducted a site survey.
A rear projection solution was favoured in view of ceiling height restrictions and the fact that there were pillars in the room. And given the room parameters Paradigm AV were able to produce a design that would fit the customer's requirements.
"I was very happy with the working relationship with Paradigm," concludes Friberg. "They were always prompt to respond to any queries we had and they worked with us to meet our customers deadline. The site engineers were professional and we all had a positive experience from working with each other."
