Like other members of the Pathway Pathport family, the Quattro supports all standard DMX-over-Ethernet protocols, including E1.31 streaming ACN, Strand Shownet, Art-Net and Pathport Protocol. It also provides an E1.20 Remote Device Management interface, for integral use on the very latest entertainment lighting systems. A simple but comprehensive front panel menu makes commissioning easy. Advanced features, such as signal loss behaviour, can be set with Pathport Manager, the cross-platform configuration software available for download at no charge from the Pathway website.
"The Pathport Quattro rounds out what is now the most complete and powerful line of DMX-over-Ethernet distribution equipment available," said Dave Higgins, Acuity Brands lighting vice president, Pathway Connectivity. "With our ability to customize the data connectors, the Quattro can easily be retro-fitted into an existing network or be the cornerstone of a new installation."
The Pathport Quattro, as well as other Pathway products, will be exhibited at the LDI 2011 Trade Show and Conference in Orlando later this month.
