UK - International lighting design consultants Light Bureau have announced the departure of design director, Paul Nulty. After 11 years with the practice he has left the company. Nulty's ambition to set up and run his own practice, Paul Nulty Lighting Design, is the reason behind his departure, says the company.

Light Bureau Principal, Paul Traynor said: "It has been a pleasure working with Paul and I sincerely wish him every success with his new company. Paul's commitment to the practice over the years has stood Light Bureau in good stead for the future and we look forward to future collaborations with him."

Paul Nulty added: "I'm very proud of all that we have achieved at Light Bureau and the fantastic team that we have built. I feel it's the perfect time for me to pursue my own venture - it's a very exciting time for me."

A company statement adds: "Both parties wish to assure clients and consultants that this recent change in the management structure at Light Bureau will not affect the delivery of current or future projects."
