The Showman's Show runs October 22-23 at Newbury Showground
UK - Pearce Hire continues its long-standing support of the Showman's Show by confirming their presence at the exhibition on 22-23 October. Pearce Hire has regularly participated at the Showman's Show because it offers an important platform for promoting their expertise in the provision of services for the outdoor and special events market.

Pearce Hire offers over 30 years knowledge providing power, lighting, audio, staging, project consultancy and production services to the outdoor and indoor event, festival, entertainment and corporate event industries. The Showman's Show at Newbury Showground happens at a convenient lull at the end of the busiest summer season on record for Pearce Hire. It is an important platform for the promotion of the full range of services offered by Pearce Hire, and a chance for the team to network with current clients and discuss plans for the next 12 months, re-connect with old clients and meet prospective new customers face-to-face.

Events supplied over the summer by Pearce Hire include the 50th Cambridge Folk Festival which has been a Pearce Hire customer for over 27 years. In addition to providing power distribution and stage lighting for this landmark event, they have supplied other regular clients including the British Birdwatching Fair, Field Day Festival, Mama Bars, Forest Live and the Warner's Motorhome Shows.

Pearce Hire has also worked with new clients Norfolk & Norwich Festival, For All Events, Rick Wakeman and GL Events. This range and variety of events - from outdoor festivals to corporate events and conferences demonstrate the company's breadth of services from dry hire to full installation and complete production and project management.

Reflecting the company's continuing CSR and investment in people in the industry, Pearce Hire is looking forward to welcoming the next group of interns from Peterborough Regional College. The Pearce Hire internship programme offers practical hands-on experience and learning for B-TEC students in the busy warehouse environment, and gives a feel for the career opportunities in the production industry.

MD Shaun Pearce observes, "The team here at Pearce Hire are focussed on offering an exceptional turnkey solution for outdoor events and on-site power distribution requirements especially for greenfield sites. Continual investment in the company's kit inventory strengthens our offer alongside our project management and production abilities. In particular we are keen to speak to visitors at the Showman's Show about our expanded portfolio of power distribution and generator solutions - from stand alone generators to multiple synchronised generating sets."

He continues, "We remain focussed on nurturing the skills of our current team as well as the upcoming generation of technicians and crew which is why we are so pleased with our continuing intern programme as a way of introducing students into our industry. And for our current team, receiving nominations for the Total Production Awards is a reflection of their hard work and professionalism."
