"The team here at Pearce Hire have spent the last few months negotiating contracts with customers such as Field Day Festival, Big Church Day Out and a series of events for Peterborough Showground, whilst expanding the portfolio of events we are working on this year for Soul Survivor with the addition of their new Scottish launch event," says MD Shaun Pearce.
"We are also working on a series of town-based 10K running events which bring a unique set of challenges and incredibly tight turn-arounds for 'For All Events'. And of course there are our long-standing customers including Forestry Commission, Warner's Motorhome Exhibitions and the Cambridge Folk Festival, all of whom we are delighted to continue our relationship with this year."
Pearce Hire has also made a considerable investment in the expansion of the company's dry hire stock with new products which include Chauvet LED exterior pars, Sunstrip Actives, single-phase distribution boxes for broadcast and a significant purchase of various-sized generators to serve the evolving power distribution requirements from customers.
"We decided to participate at PLASA Focus for the first time last year to support our strategic plan to expand our client base in the north. Returning to PLASA Focus this year allows us to continue to nurture these fledgling relationships. PLASA Focus is the perfect platform to reinforce our name within the industry on a nationwide basis, to develop new contacts on a more local footing, and re-establish links with lapsed clients.
"The fact is that with our geographical location in Cambridgeshire, we are well placed to supply and serve a broad range of events around the UK. It's an exciting time for the company as we emphasise our reputation in the marketplace as a professional, reliable and competitive 'one stop solution' for production needs," says Pearce.
Pearce Hire services range from sales, installation, dry hire and rental, servicing and in-house electrical testing, to turnkey production management and project consultancy.
