Peavey develops Digitool driver with Neets
- Details
The Neets TanGo is a powerful control system enabling intuitive touch control of third-party devices - such as Digitool - either through the array of Neets touch panel devices, Android/iOS touch panels, or standard browsers allowing for custom built GUIs. For easy installation, TanGo comes with PoE-in and PoE-out to avoid the need for an external power supply for either the control system itself or any external device such as a touch panel.
The Neets TanGo driver developed by PCA offers an IP-based command set including input and output channel level and mute control, level and mute functionality for all audio matrix points, and the ability to trigger internal preset loads.
PCA operations manager, James Kennedy, sees several benefits of the Neets/Digitool partnership. “Essentially it opens up a whole new range of applications and opportunities for both Digitool users and Neets TanGo users.
“It gives Digitool customers access to a highly effective, low cost, IP-based network controller that is capable of simultaneously controlling multiple hardware devices such as screens, projectors, amplifiers etc. as well as the Digitool. It also provides a fully customizable interface for fingertip control. In essence, the combination of Digitool and Neets TanGo offers an extremely economic alternative to many of the well-known and often very expensive control solutions on the market.”
The Digitool TanGo driver is currently available on request from PCA technical support and will soon be available for download from the PCA and Neets websites and, pending ratification, will shortly be available as part of the device driver library available within the Neets Project Designer drag-and-drop configuration software.
