This year's line-up includes Jan Akkerman, Albert Lee with Hogan's Heroes, and The Swans.
"This is a fantastic showcase for music, musicians and the equipment that goes with it, and Peavey is proud to be playing its part in presenting such a talented line-up - including many of my personal idols - to the visitors at LIMS", said Clive Roberts, managing director of Peavey Europe. "Last year's show was a fantastic advertisement for the UK music scene, and we had no hesitation in giving the thumbs up to the organisers' request for Peavey PA on the main stage again this year."
Peavey's endorsement of LIMS goes beyond the main stage's flagship Versarray system (two hangs of ten Versarray 212s supplemented by 10 218 subs, driven by Crest amplification). Having been swamped by visitors at last year's show, this year the company has booked double the stand space, to allow it to display even more of its products, ranging from guitars, effects and amps right through to gigging PA.
Several debuts are scheduled, including first UK showings for the new EuroSys portable PA system, the Joe Satriani-designed JSX 50 head amp and the IPR range of ultra-lightweight, ultra-efficient power amps.
