Pharos is a solid state, fit-and-forget solution for control of colour mixing fixtures, dimmers, ballasts and moving lights using either DMX or DALI protocols, and the judges praised it as being "a beautifully engineered lighting controller". A comprehensive range of expansion modules allows it to connect with a host of other triggers and protocols, all in a compact DIN rail-mounted housing ideal for permanent installations.
Version 1.0 of the powerful and intuitive Designer software has also been officially released for the Windows platform and is free to download from http://www.pharoscontrols.com/software.html. It incorporates the features of a sophisticated entertainment lighting console and stunningly intuitive pixel mapping functionality to control LED arrays with both colour effects and imported video. This timeline-based software has full support for moving lights, and includes simulation toallow for programming and presentation offline.
