USA - Pharos Architectural Controls will once again be joining the lighting industry at this year’s LEDucation, where they will be showcasing a host of new product updates.
LEDucation is the largest LED-only tradeshow in the United States, offering the opportunity for industry professionals to discover solid-state innovations and access professional development sessions.
Pharos will be on stand GB-706, unveiling updates to its most popular products and services. This includes the next significant release of Expert software, that will add support for the Pharos RIO G4 – a four-port network gateway for DMX distribution.
Expert software version 1.2 launches with support for two new capacity variants of Expert Control: Expert Control 4 and Expert Control 6. The four-universe Expert Control 4 has a capacity of 2,048 DMX channels and the Expert Control 6 a huge 3,072 channels. The form factor of these new variants is the same as Expert Control 1 and Expert Control 2, with two convenient local DMX ports on board. All channels are available via eDMX protocols, such as sACN and Art-Net, or via DMX ports on the new RIO G4.
Visitors to the stand will be able to experience the Expert Touch mobile app, which turns any phone or tablet on a local Wi-Fi network into an elegant user control interface. The app delivers wireless scene selection, colour and intensity override, as well as the ability to view the programmed schedule and even pause upcoming events.
The Pharos team will also be demonstrating further enhancements to RDM (Remote Device Management) support in the company’s Designer range, with improved patching tools and fixture status monitoring available from the controller web interface.
Michael Grosse, regional sales manager for the Americas at Pharos Architectural Controls said: “LEDucation is always a highlight in our events calendar and with so many new developments and features to showcase to delegates, we know it’s going to be a great show.
“The updates we’re bringing to the show are the result of constant consultation with customers and keeping abreast of the needs of the industry, ensuring that we continue to deliver cutting-edge products and solutions across a multitude of applications.”
This will be the first event attended by the Pharos team since the opening of its new office in Denver, which will serve as the primary base for the US team’s support services and training operations. Strategically located with easy access to Denver International Airport, the new office will host regular, in-person customer training sessions, enhance technical support across the West Coast time zone, and serve as a central location for managing demo products and product servicing.
LEDucation takes place at New York Hilton Midtown on 18-19 March, with virtual conference sessions being held on 13-14 March.
