Since DWR Distribution set up four years ago the company has seen continuous growth and quickly established itself as a crucial cog in the South African entertainment industry machine. 2010 has seen DWR host the first ever Vari-Lite training sessions in South Africa and supply South African hire company, Gearhouse, with 120 Vari-Lite fixtures for use on events surrounding the 2010 World Cup.
More recently, DWR won the tender to supply and install the dimming systems for the Opera, Drama and Loft venues within the Durban Playhouse Theatre, specifying Philips Strand EC 21 High Density Dimming.
