At the Philips booth #1455, the company will present its complete Philips FastFit range. Initiated by the launch of Philips MSR Gold 1200 FastFit and Philips Hi-Brite 1200 FastFit, at the beginning of this year, Philips has completed the product range with Philips MSR Gold 700 FastFit and Philips Hi-Brite 750 FastFit. This rear load lamp base system has been co-developed with Bender & Wirth.
The benefit of this new lamp concept is not only a fast lamp replacement due to the unique lamp and lamp holder design, it also includes an increased brightness, provides the opportunity to reduce fixture size and weight, assures reliability due to pinch protection technology and has an excellent color quality. Several OEMs will underline the display of this innovative lamp concept at LDI via the launch of several Philips FastFit lamp based fixtures.
LDI 2006, also offers the opportunity to promote the new Philips Ceramic ST 500HR (as a second Ceramic ST lamp after having launched the 250 watt version) as the renewed Philips CDM-SA/T 150W with the rated lifetime of 9 000 hours, an increasing of 50% towards the existing product.
In co-development with OEMs, the latest extension of the "golden" HID lamp range will also be presented: Philips MSR Gold 575 SA/2 DE. The Philips MSR Gold lamps provide a pure, white light and an outstanding colour performance. The gold plated lamp caps prevent early lamp or lamp holder failures because of the better heat protection (up to 400ºC). And the latest HID technology provides a uniform color for the whole MSR range (double-ended and single-ended). Next to this the MSR Gold lamps have pinch protection technology that allows the lamps to operate in extreme hot conditions; pinch temperature is resistant to 500ºC.
