The latest stage lighting and control from Philips Strand Lighting, Philips Selecon and Showline will feature
UK - Philips Lighting's entertainment division will be at the ABTT Theatre Show 2016 this week on stand A11, showcasing the latest stage lighting and control from Philips Strand Lighting, Philips Selecon and Showline. On display from Strand Lighting will be the latest addition to its range of control tools - the Philips Strand 500ML Lighting Control console and the NEO console.

Designed to control dimmers, LED fixtures and moving lights, the Philips Strand 500ML's user interface is quick and easy to navigate and provides designers and programmers with 24 faders, each of which may be used as a master, submaster or playback.

Lighting designer Mark Wynn-Edwards, whose portfolio includes Lamb and Jamiroquai, comments that he is highly impressed with the Philips Strand 500ML:

"I have been using the Philips Strand 500ML for a while now on a broad range of projects," he explains. "It's understated yet powerful and is future-proofed with regular system updates. With every update it gets more and more multi-featured, closing the gap between it and the larger, more advanced desks on the market."

Also, the newly launched Philips Showline SL Hydrus 350 will be on stand and available for demo. A powerful yet compact effects light, the Philips SL Hydrus 350 is ideal for large-scale musicals and contemporary opera.

Visitors to ABTT will also be able to learn more about the new benefits of the refreshed Philips Selecon LED PLprofile1 and PLprofile4 MKII. The reinvigorated luminaires now offer boosted light output, superior colour consistency and beam quality.

The Philips Selecon RAMA LED Fresnel will also be on stand.
