The Nitro 510C from Philips Showline adds full RGBW capabilities to the popular Nitro fixture.
Germany - Philips Showline premiered the SL NITRO 510C today at Prolight+Sound in Frankfurt last week. The unit features full RGBW capabilities within the same compact fixture as the SL NITRO 510, while maintaining similar output, multiple zone control and continuous-on abilities.

"The SL NITRO 510C is a cutting-edge RGBW LED strobe luminaire that delivers intense bursts of coloured and white light and dynamic effects," says Philips Entertainment lighting product manager, Brad Schiller. "The tightly packed array of 264 high power fixed white LEDs and 264 RGB LEDs ensures maximum output for both traditional white effects and an almost infinite choice of colour with full field and even distribution across 120ยบ. The rugged construction, Showline standard LCD menu system, continuous-on operation and lower power consumption guarantee the SL NITRO 510C is the perfect strobe luminaire for any application."

In similarity to the SL NITRO 510, a unique quick-connect systems allows SL NITRO 510C units to connect together easily top-to-bottom and side-by-side. In addition, the form factor of the SL NITRO 510C matches the SL NITRO 510 and the SL BAR 520, so the three luminaires can be interconnected providing unlimited design possibilities.

Six unique zones of control allow ultimate flexibility, while unique built in chases aid in creativity and simplicity. With over 50,000 lumens of output, the SL NITRO 510C rivals conventional fixed white strobes and provides designers with an exciting new dimension to dynamic looks whether washing a stage or pointing directly at an audience.

Also debuting this week at Prolight+Sound is the Showline SL WASH 350, which delivers an extremely bright homogenous beam with a large zoom range. The luminaire's 19 RGBW 15-watt LEDs deliver over 5,800 lumens of output and an extremely wide colour palette. The large motorized zoom range of 8° to 40° provides designers with the freedom to use the SL WASH 350 as a special or as a wash luminaire.

As with every Showline luminaire, the SL WASH 350 utilises the Harmonize Colour Calibration system. This revolutionary process ensures colour matching not only between luminaires, but also between individual pixels of each and every luminaire. A removable snoot provides masking control when required. Seamless colour changes, powerful output, a wide zoom range and creative programming possibilities enable the SL WASH 350 to fit into a wide range of lighting applications.

Also new for the Showline brand in Frankfurt were the - the SL eSTROBE 130 and SL ePAR 180 luminaires. The SL eSTROBE 130 utilises 576 cool white LEDs to deliver 28000 lumens output, while separate control of four zones allows for unique design flexibility.

Constructed from robust die-cast aluminium and consuming only 150W, the SL eSTROBE 130 is pitched as a replacement for high-current Xenon strobe luminaires. With a beam angle of 120 degrees, and up to two minutes of user selectable "on" duration, the SL eSTROBE 130 offers designers a flexible solution for short throw illumination effects, say Philips.

The SL ePAR 180 luminaire utilises 19 homogenised RGBW LEDs to produce over 4400 lumens output, while its split yoke bracket allows for easy hanging or floor mounting. Also constructed from robust die-cast aluminium, the SL ePAR 180 is an energy saving replacement for halogen PAR luminaires, suitable for lighting simple stages in hotels, clubs, and shopping malls, the company says.
