Guests will find the full d&b product range in the Sound + Audio Hall 3.1
Germany - d&b is heading to Prolight + Sound to highlight its next generation line array.
Sitting above the J, Y and V-Series, GSL delivers “unparalleled cardiod dispersion control across the entire audio bandwidth, setting a new standard for output and accuracy in large-format line arrays for the world’s largest sound reinforcement applications”.
This applied evolution is the next step in d&b’s 30-year obsession to deliver precise pattern control, and effortlessly elevates the listening experience for the audience, while ensuring that the creative environment for the system engineers and mixers is revolutionized by rejecting energy to the rear and significantly reducing excitation of the reverberant field, says the company.
As well as a focus on the official release of GSL, there will be further opportunities for attendees to experience the newly released d&b Soundscape at daily demo sessions. Introduced in February, Soundscape, powered by the DS100 Signal Engine, opens up “a world of creativity for sound designers, artists and audiences, enabling object-based mixing and sophisticated room emulation”. The demos will run from 10 to 13 April at Messe Frankfurt in the Panorama Hall, where guests will preview the d&b Soundscape, and hear about the evolution in loudspeaker system design; from mono to stereo to Soundscape.
Alongside the two new d&b releases, guests will find the full d&b product range in the Sound + Audio Hall 3.1, stand C41, including all loudspeaker series E,T, J, Y and V-Series, as well as xS, xA and xC-Series. This is an opportunity for attendees to have their questions answered by d&b co-workers, learn more about the products, and experience the d&b innovations in action.
David Claringbold, d&b chief marketing officer, comments, “Prolight + Sound brings together all strands of the industry under one roof and the d&b family certainly feels at home there. All of the d&b global partners, distributors and friends are warmly invited to share this moment with us. We expect Prolight + Sound 2018 to be both the finale of a multi-year development phase and the kick-off for a perennial journey of these two outstanding audio innovations.”
