Europe - Chauvet Professional has been marketing its celebrated line of fixtures under the banner Finally True Colours ReveaLED. The company will be impressing with another kind of "reveal" at Prolight + Sound, as it introduces an array of new products at Stand E21.
This year's Prolight + Sound will mark the first major showing of three Chauvet Professional products that are ‘certain to change the equation in entertainment lighting in 2025 and beyond’.
Heading the list is the new Maverick Storm 1 Flex. Unveiled just weeks ago in late March, this fully featured spot/beam/wash powerhouse distinguishes itself (and opens new creative vistas for designers) by projecting flat, even fields of white and coloured light from its LED source, including true reds, with absolutely no hotspots.
The Maverick Storm 1 Flex has a massive zoom range of 2.6° to over 50°, but even when it's down to its tightest zoom, the light is still spot free. It's easy to see how any skilled designer can use this feature to create remarkably unique, tightly focused aerial effects.
Joining this versatile fixture at the booth will be the Strike V, the newest addition to the popular Strike family of lights. The new fixture delivers the same famously intense brightness as its stablemates, but it also takes things further by offering an unprecedented level of creative options thanks to its two layers of individually controllable RGBW LEDs.
A "smart" variable electronic frost plate that covers the fixture's two layers (each with 24 LEDs), makes it possible to create zoomed out flares, and change beam angles at the push of a button. A 180-degree tilting fixture, the Strike V has remarkably powerful strobing capabilities to go along with its outstanding performance as a colour wash.
Another newcomer at the show will be the Rogue Outcast 3X Wash, which allows a fast zoom from beam to wash. Powered by 37 bright 25W RGBW LEDs, this alloy armoured IP65-rated fixture can punch through fog or haze. Power stands shoulder to shoulder with flexibility in this versatile wash, which features nine pixel-mappable zones and produces excellent colour blending and fades with 16-bit master and individual dimming.
The WELL family of battery-powered fixtures will also be featured, including the WELL Panel X4, the WELL Fit X, and the WELL Batten 14 X, which features 14 zones of individually controllable pixels.
ChamSys will also present a new offering – the MagicQ Compact Wing, which features 20 playbacks (10 Fader and 10 Executor buttons), and pairs seamlessly with MagicQ consoles and wings, making it easy to expand the number of physical playbacks at any site.
This newcomer joins ChamSys' other product offerings, including the MagicQ MQ500+ Stadium console and GeNetix family of solutions at the Prolight + Sound booth E21.
