GLP will showcase a wide range of new products and selected prototypes

Europe - GLP will showcase a wide range of new products and selected prototypes at this year’s Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt. In addition to the latest innovations, visitors can look forward to GLP’s renowned hospitality, delicious coffee, the popular Beer Pass, and a relaxed atmosphere at booth 12.1 C30/C31.

With the JDC Burst 1, GLP presents the next evolutionary stage of its JDC1 hybrid strobe. Its new segmentable strobe line is 10% brighter than the JDC1’s and can flash in perfect unison with the newly RGBW-equipped LED plates – for exceptionally powerful bursts. The RGBW plates themselves deliver significantly increased colour output and are rendered in 20 x 240 pixels, offering maximum creative control. With an IP65 rating, fanless design, and 185° tilt, the JDC Burst 1 is suited for tough outdoor use and demanding show environments.

Also IP65-rated, the new Wild Bar 16 is a powerful LED tilt bar featuring 16 RGBL LEDs, a variable zoom range (4°-44°), motorised 200° tilt, and an integrated FX engine. With its rugged yet surprisingly lightweight construction, it’s ideal for outdoor applications and large-scale rigging setups.

GLP introduces the Matrix Series – a modular cluster system that allows multiple frame-based fixtures to be mechanically connected into seamless, custom lighting arrays. Leading the way is the Matrix Eye, a high-power LED blinder (available in 2-light and 4-light configurations) equipped with efficient RGBAL LEDs and GLP’s iQ.Gamut colour algorithm, offering vivid colours and premium white light with excellent colour rendering.

Another highlight will be the launch of the new brand Nexus Lights, which focuses on wireless, battery-powered, app-controlled LED lighting systems. The first products in the series – Circle, Square and Line – are modular, IP65-rated, and tailored to DJs, wedding planners, event professionals, as well as club and bar installations. Upcoming additions include the Nexus Strobe and Nexus Uplighter with integrated zoom.

The Mad Maxx – the first true fat-beam LED fixture with an impressive 750mm beam diameter – will be impossible to miss at the GLP booth. As an LED-based alternative to conventional 3 kW and 7 kW Xenon beam lights, it delivers massive beam effects, various control modes including virtual iris and pattern options, and energy-efficient operation at just 2,500W. Thanks to its IP65 certification, the Mad Maxx is ideal for temporary outdoor use – and also a favourite photo opportunity for visitors at the Frankfurt show.

As part of the show, GLP is once again hosting its Tech’n’Talents Party on Wednesday 9 April 2025, from 8.00 PM at Club Fortuna Irgendwo I (Hanauer Landstraße 192, Frankfurt). Admission is free, but only possible with a wristband, available exclusively at the GLP trade show booth.
