Green Hippo made a big impression at Frankfurt
Germany - At Frankfurt, Green Hippo seized the opportunity to team with cast, its German distributor, to showcase the new features of Hippotizer Version 4.5, the latest version of its software.
Co-exhibiting with CAST, Green Hippo demonstrated the features of Hippotizer Version 4.5, including BeatBridge and Object to Output – Object to Output maps content to outputs directly inside SHAPE’s 3D workspace, while BeatBridge simplifies programming by allowing Hippotizer parameters to react to audio input.
The Green Hippo squad also worked with Absen and Notch, to create stunning visuals on Absen’s stand. Here, the display highlighted the power of combining Hippotizer Montane+ RTX with Notch. Thanks to Notch’s generative content creation system, the show team created visuals, using input from a simple camera feed, which was then shown on an Absen LED wall. Eliminating the need to render content, generating video on the fly is the next frontier in live events.
Prolight + Sound 2019 attendees could also witness Hippotizer on the Kinesys stand and also on the Martin booths. Kinesys works well with Green Hippo Hippotizer Version 4.5, including integrating with Object to Output and Advanced Automation Smoothing, making the integration of moving elements with Hippotizer easier and more flexible than ever before. The demonstration fed data from a Kinesys K2 system into Hippotizer, creating a full 3D representation. SHAPE then mapped content on to the display in real time.
“We were thrilled about the response that we had at the show, from both existing Green Hippo users and our distributors plus also new users too, all of whom could get hands-on with our Hippotizers to appreciate first-hand the ongoing innovation and ease of use,” says David March, head of sales and marketing ROW at Green Hippo. “We would like to thank all our old and new friends of Green Hippo that spent time with us and our German distributor CAST, who provided a fantastic and hospitable village for all of their partners.”
