UK - J. R. Clancy, Inc. will present its ability to provide complete rigging solutions at stand 1-D6 at PLASA 2011.

Clancy will exhibit with its European partner, Hoist UK. Visitors to the show will have a chance to see how Clancy "can answer virtually any theatrical or arena rigging question" - from basics like Clancy's Sure-Grip rope (that displays a wear indicator when it's time to replace it),to completely custom acoustical solutions, hoists and stage lifts.

Attendees can examine the PowerLift - and view a series of videos of Clancy's other products for power flying. The videos feature Power Assist hoists, used to motorize counterweights sets; and Titan, Clancy's largest standard zero-fleet hoist.

There will also be screenings of the video one of Clancy's most extensive and distinguished projects: the award-winning chandelier at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Texas.

Clancy also will feature its work at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University (PNU will soon be the world's largest women's university) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The theatre complex is comprised of a 2500-seat performance hall, a 700-seat drama theatre and a black box theatre for lectures and small productions.

Finally, Clancy will discuss its work at the new Abu Dhabi campus of Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates. The theatre on this new campus features a combination of 30 PowerLift hoists with20 Clancy counterweight sets. Clancy's 3D motion control SceneControl 500computer does double duty as the controller for the motorized hoists and for five stage lifts provided by Serapid.
