Wybron Cygnus will also participate in the STLD LED Shootout at stand 1F-60, represented by Cygnus Studio Series medium and narrow flood fixtures. The Shootout provides an opportunity for objective comparison of fixtures from various manufacturers in a hands-on 'studio' setting, every day throughout the show.
Cygnus Studio Series all-white wash fixtures are bright and feature variable colour temperatures of 2800K-6000K, using a combination of cool and warm white CREE LEDs. Suitable for flicker-free film and video (even with shutter speeds as high as 1/6000 of a second), the 100W and 200W Studio models features a new grip panel function allowing the user to change colour temperature and intensity right at the unit. Daisy-chained Cygnus Studio units will automatically follow the same settings, and grip mode settings return when the fixtures are repowered for the next use.
All the energy efficient Cygnus models feature a quiet, advanced thermal management system ensuring optimal output and consistent colour for many years, says the company. Proprietary in-lens colour-mixing technology gives smooth, virtually rainbow-free shadows. Advanced electronics provide step-free dimming over the longest fades. All Cygnus fixtures are fully RDM capable.
