Lee House (Ambersphere) and Valere Huart-Gyors (Ayrton) at PLASA 2016
UK - Ayrton has built a deserved reputation as a maker of original, eye-catching and well-engineered lighting effects - and has introduced a multitude of new products in 2016, many of which can be seen for the first time in London at PLASA. You can see them on stand L30, where the French innovator can be found alongside UK distributor Ambersphere Solutions.

Drawing attention are MagicPanel-FX - an exciting new multi-function luminaire with 5 x 5 array of squared lenses on its front face producing a variety of 2D and 3D effects, which builds on the creative potential of its predecessors in the MagicPanel family - and MagicBurst, which is not only Ayrton's first strobe but the industry's first high-power graphic LED strobe, offering continuous rotation on both axes. Its 384 x 384mm squared face has 3,840 high-output white LEDs grouped into an 8 x 8 matrix - great for arrays. With its new ultra-compact 1,300W power supply, MagicBurst can deliver peak light output of over 240,000 lumens (at 5600K) - for several seconds.

Inspired by fixtures from the '70s and '80s, AlienPix-RS uses modern technology, optics and LED sources to create a multi-rotational fixture with eight axes of continuous rotation and six individually controllable beams.

Also on show will be the WildSun-S25, the colour-mixing cousin of the WildSunK25 washlight, with 217 highly efficient RGBW LED emitters into a compact moving head and punching out 60,000 lumens, equivalent to a 4K HMI - as well as familiar favourites including the MagicDot-R, MagicBlade-R and the Nandobeam range.
