Behringer introduced the Truth series of professional reference studio monitors.
Germany - Behringer, the German manufacturer of pro audio tools, is expanding its product line to meet the growing needs of the pro audio and entertainment industry. At PLASA 2003, Behringer unveiled 13 new products developed in close collaboration with professional artists and engineers.

These include three new 31-band equalizers - the Ultragraph digital DEQ1024, Ultragraph pro FBQ6200 and Ultragraph pro FBQ3102 - and one new 15-band stereo-graphic equalizer, the Ultragraph pro FBQ1502. These new products feature ultra high-resolution stereo 24-bit/96kHz equalizers, combined with a patent pending FBQ Feedback Detection System that instantly reveals critical frequencies and can also be used as an audio analyzer. Super, rugged construction ensures long life even under the hardest of users.

For DJs, the new professional VMX1000 is a 7-channel, 19" ultra low-noise DJ mixer with state-of-the-art phono preamps and comes equipped with an intelligent dual auto-BPM counter, a sports VCA-controlled crossfader with curve control for utmost reliability and smooth audio performance.

Behringer also introduced a new desktop DJ effects machine: the Tweakalizer features a real-time scratch function for any input signal and a super-fast and accurate auto-BPM counter. It also features a virtually inaudible Pitch Transposer to make track speed adjustments and a LFO-controlled effects section with delay and flanger.

The MS16 is Behringer's new compact stereo speaker system ideally suited for home studios, multimedia applications, keyboard and vocal monitoring. The powerful 4" woofers and high-resolution tweeters of the active monitor speakers are powered by two 8W amplifiers, while their dedicated volume, bass and treble controls provide maximum flexibility.

Behringer also extended its line of professional reference studio monitors with the launch of three new active and passive models - the Truth B2030A, Truth B2030P, and Truth B2031P - all high-resolution, 2-way nearfield systems with ultra-linear frequency response and ferrofluid-cooled tweeters.

Behringer's new line of products brings everything to light with the introduction of the Eurolight LD6230 DMX/analogue-controlled dimmer pack. The LD6230 offers up to 10A output per channel, while its powerful feature set includes a three-phase mains supply, DMX512 standard interface for digital control, additional 8-pole DIN connector for analog control from 0-10 V and adjustable preheat and limiter function for prolonged bulb life.

Behringer has also updated its line of professional studio microphones and offers an affordable studio condenser microphone-the C-1. This microphone is ideal as a main or support microphone for studio and live applications. The C-1 features an exceptionally flat frequency response and ultra-high sound resolution.

Finally, the Ultrapar UP1000 high-luminosity die-cast parabolic spotlight boasts a very high luminous efficiencies and extremely low power consumption. The UP1000 has a die-cast case, offering increased mechanical durability and optical quality.
