PLASA's Professional Development Programme will deliver two days of presentations, technical demonstrations and panel discussions, all designed to help visitors build their industry knowledge and improve their skill set. This year's programme focusses on the hot topics affecting the Audio, Lighting, Rigging and Staging sectors, bringing together a mix of local and international names to speak on a wide range of subjects.
Recently confirmed presentations include veteran live sound engineer Justin Grealy's Is it Pointing in the Right Direction? A look at getting your sound system right, and from Avolites, How can networking benefit my show? - a seminar for anyone who wants to know more about networking lighting and video systems.
Organisers PLASA Events has also announced that following the success of the Riggers Forums in both London and Leeds, the SECC have kindly offered to host the PLASA Riggers Forum in Glasgow, running alongside the PLASA Focus show and hosted by Chris Higgs.
