Returning to Leeds’ Royal Armouries on 12-13 May, the free-to-attend show not only offers a showcase of the very latest technology, it also serves as a vital meeting point for the industry, where lasting connections are made, says PLASA.
Spanning audio, AV, lighting, rigging and staging, 200+ brands will present their key products and solutions, including several debuts following major international launches.
Lighting manufacturers at the show will include Chauvet Professional, Elation Professional, GLP, Robe Lighting, and Vari-Lite & Strand, whilst featuring from the pro audio sector will be Bose, d&b audiotechnik, Funktion-One, Martin Audio, RCF, Sennheiser and Shure. Plenty of rigging and staging brands will also be present - those include Area Four Industries, Doughty Engineering, Gerriets, J&C Joel, and UK Rigging.
PLASA Focus Leeds will welcome several new and returning faces for its 2020 edition, including Void Acoustics, who debuted at the PLASA Show 2019; audio manufacturers Apt-GB and Cloud Electronics, BeamZ Lighting, and network specialists Riedel Communications.
Running alongside the two show halls will be a diverse programme of talks, interactive panels and practical training sessions. Visitors can hear from influential creatives as they reveal their biggest projects of the year and technical experts to unpack the latest standards and legislation.
Audio demonstrations will return as a feature, with leading brands showcasing their loudspeakers, amplifiers and monitors at regular intervals throughout the show.
