Over 15,000 industry professionals have already registered for this year's PLASA London event, which takes place at the ExCeL Centre, London from 6-9 October 2013.

PLASA London is supported by Platinum Sponsor Robe Lighting, Gold Sponsor Martin Professional and Silver Sponsor Clay Paky.

Chris Toulmin, Head of Events, PLASA London 2013, said: "Our move to ExCeL has given us and our exhibitors the scope to truly get bigger, brighter and louder. We are very proud to unveil the AudioLab feature which brings the latest audio technology to the fore in a variety of settings, and the Professional Development Programme has attracted some great speakers, all leading experts in their fields, who will share their vast knowledge, real-world experiences and sage advice with PLASA visitors."

AudioLab 2013 features a new pro audio arena, theatre and interactive lab that allows visitors to experience the cutting-edge of pro audio. The AudioLab Arena, sponsored by MediaLease and supported by Roland as Technical Partner, is a purpose-built space for demonstrations and shoot-outs, while the AudioLab Theatre features three seminar streams on Live Sound, Installed Sound and The Sound Business. AudioLab Interactive is a myth-busting laboratory that will see live experiments performed on a range of pro audio equipment.

The Professional Development Programme also includes two seminar theatres dealing with all aspects of entertainment lighting and stage technologies. PLASA London joins in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National Theatre, and the programme includes an inside look at large scale events including Eurovision, Glastonbury's Arcadia Stage and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as a wide range of practical sessions.

PLASA London 2013 will feature more than 250 exhibitors, many with brand new products, technology and services that they will launch at the show.

There is also an extensive agenda of after-hours activities that provide valuable networking opportunities, including the Knight of Illumination Awards and the PLASA Awards for Innovation, as well as the legendary Avolites party. In addition, the two new bars on the show floor provide welcome areas to relax and meet friends old and new during show hours.
