SDUK will be showcasing three of their distributed brands on their PLASA stand. Shure microphones and a variety of Radial products will be shown set up for all of the major elements of a touring musical production, including drums, guitar cabs, live vocalists and keyboards/MIDI instruments. Specific displays will also focus on some of the most recently introduced products from the SDUK stable, including Shure's new SE846 quad driver earphones, QSC's new CXD and PLD amplifiers, and new interfaces from Radial Engineering.
More equipment, including installation products such as QSC AcousticDesign speakers and Shure Microflex wireless microphones, will be demonstrated in SDUK's off-stand Audio Solutions Suite (South Gallery, Room 11), where a rolling programme of seminars will also take place throughout the show.
PLASA visitors wishing to attend these seminars should register at http://bit.ly/16yRfNk. All seminars will fall under the new education, training and industry networking initiative: the Shure Academy European Audio Network. Seminars include getting the best from wireless mics in live sound applications, how best to deal with the reduced RF spectrum available following the Digital Dividend, and an introduction to the advantages of using networkable technology in installed sound applications.
This will be a prelude to running regular education and networking events at Shure's UK headquarters and around the country. For more detailed information, come to Stand C70 at PLASA, where SDUK representatives will be present throughout the show
