"We're thrilled that PLASA recognised the Source Four Mini," says ETC fixtures product manager Jim Uphoff. "It was a big draw at LDI, and is becoming a popular choice for lighting professionals, because it's so versatile, going where larger fixtures can't. It may be cute, but it's a powerful tool that deserves a place in any designer's toolkit."
In addition to being a product showroom, the ETC stand also served as a functional theatre, staging a series of presentations on lighting fixtures and system design. It was standing room only for the LDI guests who packed the booth to hear ETC experts discuss the history of product development, ETC's current product offerings and predictions on what the future will bring.
A large number of LDI attendees left the show floor to go behind the scenes in ETC's product lounge, where they could get one on one demonstrations and a sneak peek at upcoming ETC product releases. "The lounge was packed during the show," explains ETC GmbH market manager Sarah Clausen. "So many people stopped in to see our new Cobalt lighting control system, which was making its American debut."
