Mark White of ETC draws the London Light competition winners at PLASA09.
UK - Sales, rental and production company London Light Production Services has announced the winners of its PLASA 09 competition to win a week's hire of an ETC Eos and Ion consoles.

At the show, visitors were encouraged to leave their details at London Light's stand and on the Wednesday afternoon, ETC regional sales manager for UK and Ireland, Mark White, drew the winners. Anton Prior, a technician from Salisbury City Hall, wins a week's hire of the Eos, while Ben Goodland, department tech from the Regis Centre, wins a week's hire of an Ion.

"This was our first PLASA show, and it was made possible by the organisers providing a new exhibitors area," says London Light's business development manager, Andy Vere, referring to PLASA's new initiative Small Business Pavilion. "We had a steady stream of visitors throughout the four days who were interested in finding out about the services we offer. It was also a great opportunity to meet up with our current clients as well as catching up with our key suppliers who were also exhibiting.

"We offer a complete design, implementation and operation service, taking care of all lighting concerns from the initial production meeting through to the get-out as well as offering dry hires and a full sales service. As a small company, we're proud of the personalised one-to-one service we offer clients, including out of hours technical support.

"By offering dry hire of two of ETC's top of the range consoles, we'll be demonstrating the quality of service and equipment customers receive from London Light each and every time they deal with us," said Vere.

Four other winners were also drawn during the show, each of whom won a bottle of Champagne. The winners are Fiona Greenhill, head of production at the Albany Theatre; Elliot Griggs, freelance lighting designer; Richard Stephens, technician at the Colchester Institute; and Joseph Stevenson, technician at Brooklands College.
