As well as demonstrating the VQ Live system, designed for the rental/hire sound market, Tannoy are also be exhibiting the latest developments in the successful VQ Series installation range. Initially launched early last year, VQ Series has been expanded with the addition of 6 new devices (each available in passive or VNET powered) including new mid-high MH and down-firing DF enclosures with a variety of horn formats including 40 deg conical, 60 x 40 degree and 90 x 50 degree.
These new modules offer the systems designer an extremely flexible set of tools with which to build tightly packed compact arrays for a multitude of applications ranging from small to very large scale. A new subwoofer device, the VS 15DR, along with new flying and rigging hardware further enhances the exceptional versatility of VQ Series.
As well as VQ, the InAVation award winning QFlex digital beam-steering array is also be on show and being demonstrated. Also unveiled at last year's show, QFlex has been generating a great deal of market interest and finding itself the solution of choice in a wide range of acoustically challenging projects including houses of worship, airport terminals, museums, financial institutions, performing arts theatres and shopping malls.
