UK - Visual Productions is launching Cuelux software lighting control on the UK market. Cuelux is a platform-independent piece of software lighting control that can run on Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows or Ubuntu Linux. It is a DMX512 lighting controller for intelligent lights, LED, dimmers, lasers and various other effects; the USB-to-DMX adapter cable is available from stock.

Cuelux is designed to suit the entry level market; key to this is its intuitive graphical user-interface. It is specially designed to reduce the amount of time required to learn how to operate the software. Great care has been taken to design Cuelux' 100% touch-screen compliant user-interface to reflect the functionality of the industry standard control boards. Programming the lights through Cuelux' cue-list system is identical to the industry's most sophisticated consoles, says the company.

Additional hands-on fader control is offered by a plug-and-play compatibility with MIDI control surfaces. Combined with its' affordable price, Cuelux is available to a large audience of Light jockeys, DJ's, freelance technicians, rental companies and tour bands.

Also available for demonstration during the show will be Visual Productions' other software lighting controllers including VisualDMX aimed at the architectural and installation markets and Canvix the dedicated matrix controller, ideal for use with LED fixtures.
