UK - Polar has announced the launch of Polar Leasing, which will allow its customers the freedom to finance any product or service Polar provides. The scheme will enable Polar customers to better align their investments with their goals, or allow them to offer their own customers the flexibility to finance purchases.
Polar Leasing allows customers to use assets without upfront purchase over a lease duration customised to align with their working capital needs. During an agreed term a customer makes fixed payments classified as operational expenses, which are 100% tax deductible. The customer can settle the lease at any time or at the end of the leasing period will pay a nominal fee to take ownership. This flexible arrangement also allows customers to upgrade equipment during the lease period, ensuring that they have access to the most up-to-date technology.
Polar managing director, John Midgley, explains: “It’s clear to see the advantages of a scheme like this when you consider that around 80% of FTSE 500 companies now lease their technology hardware and software. We’re always looking for ways to help our customers gain an edge, and believe that Polar Leasing can do just that.
“By spreading the cost of equipment over its working life, the Polar Leasing scheme is designed to help our customers on a number of levels. It protects their cash flow by allowing them the freedom to have the equipment they need without affecting their reserves, increases profitability by conserving working capital, and through agreeing a manageable monthly payment, enables them to afford the very latest technology without cutting corners on upgrades.
“It’s also important to stress that we can simplify customer operations by efficiently handling everything from providing quotes and managing approvals, to completing paperwork and ensuring fast payments. We can reach credit approvals swiftly and send paperwork digitally for ease and speed. A simple direct debit payment enables customers to finance any product or service we provide – equipment, software, consultancy, installation, training and delivery all fall under the remit of Polar Leasing.”
