Anchoring the proceedings was Music Group senior VP marketing, Costa Lakoumentas, whose infectious and engaging delivery was matched by his obvious genuine conviction that here was a range of products to seriously challenge the status quo. Although now operating from a marketing platform, Costa's background in installation, design and engineering has been fundamental to the development of Eurocom.
A most interesting aspect of the presentation covered the manufacturing element.. Behringer products are all manufactured at Music Group City in Zhongshan. This factory-complex integrates every facet of the production chain in one location. This application of integrated production principles has heralded significant increases in efficiency and quality control, leading, inevitably, to better value for the customer, says the company. A further indicator of the quality of the operation is the high level of staff retention in a traditionally very fluid labour market.
