M50Q and M28Q are the 4-channel models, with up to 1,250W/ch into 4 ohms. M30D, M20D, and M14D offer two channels each with a maximum output of 1,500W/ch at 4 ohms, and the entire range reaches down to 360W/ch into 8 ohms, resulting in the greatest flexibility for a wide range of applications. The highlight is the plug-in DSP module, which, once inside the amps, can hardly be tampered with, making M Series a 'plug & safe' power amp, including crossover and basic system EQ and protection functions.
"We will be able to offer M Series at a very attractive price, but without compromising in sound quality and features," confirms Claudio Lastrucci, Powersoft's managing director, "so it's an outstandingly great value for small- to medium-sized PA, stage monitors, with live music and DJ type of signal. Even for dry hire M Series is safe with the DSP 'hidden' inside. Clubs, bars, and other entertainment venues often have to pay extra for their systems to be 'tamper-proof', but we will have it included."
The new amplifiers shall become available later in 2010, and by then M Series will also benefit from the same AESOP network technology as the renowned Powersoft K Series. "M Series will set a new standard in its class," concludes Mr. Lastrucci, "and like all our product, it will be made in Italy according to our stringent quality standards."
