Russian rock stars Vyacheslav Butusov and Jupiter
Belarus - PR Lighting's Belarus distributors, FE Belimlight, needed to draw on almost their entire inventory of PR fixtures recently to meet an extravagant lighting design created by Siarhei Koltsov (from FE's production company, Blackout Studio).

The set was for a concert by Russian rock stars Vyacheslav Butusov and Jupiter in front of 7,000 people at the Minsk Sports Palace - and no fewer than 136 fixtures from the Chinese manufacturer were on duty. These were made up of 48 each of PR Lighting's XL 1500 Spot and Wash Lights and 20 each of the XL 700 Spot and Wash.

The 1500W short-arc discharge fixture is PR Lighting's most powerful head. Its power output and versatility are enhanced by the high quality, super efficient optical system making them among the brightest projectors in the market.

Blackout Studio have a long-standing relationship with the artist's management, and having provided standard production for the rest of the tour, decided to add extra fixtures for the Belarus event.

The XL1500's and XL700's were used extensively for front-fill, placed on different trusses (and on the stage) to create different looks. Blackout Studio says the combination of the PR Lighting discharge moving heads along with other halogen moving PARs combined to produce really interesting and dynamic textures.
