The new DSP Controlled P Series power amplifiers combine the outstanding qualities of EV’s Precision Series with extensive remote control and system monitoring functions that extend to the loudspeakers connected: EV has named the new technology IRIS (Intelligent Remote and Integrated Supervision). Equipped with the state-of-the-art technology of the Dx38 Signal Processor (dynamic range > 115 dB), the power amplifiers offer outstanding audio performance and an ultra high level of reliability whether in top-flight touring applications or fixed installations. The network of the DSP-controlled Precision Series Amplifiers is controlled serially over the CAN bus. The software provides for the control and supervision of up to 250 power amplifiers.

Features include central supervision and control of up to 250 power amplifiers and all connected loudspeakers; all amplifier operation modes and levels controlled and monitored via one or multiple PCs using the IRIS software; signal processing of the highest quality (dynamic range > 115 dB) with 24 filters, five delays, two compressors and two limiters; display of the acoustic response of EV loudspeakers in real-time (RACE); seamless integration with life-safety systems and control of external equipment; absolute top quality audio performance and extreme reliability.
