UK - After the global success of their take on rhythm and physical theatre, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas have taken the Stomp concept to a new level. Where Stomp creates rhythm with everyday objects, The Lost and Found Orchestra transforms everyday objects into a plethora of invented instruments. LFO recreates every section of a symphony orchestra, using musical saws, bottles, whirly toys and traffic cones.

PRG's Andrew Strachan worked alongside Jason Culverwell from Stomp Productions as production manager and Paul Emery, lighting designer to supply the lighting and rigging for the show in Paris from 21 January to 9 February.

Within Paul's lighting design he utilised Vari-Lites, Impression X4s & Pixelline with a traditional theatrical generic rig making up the back-bone of the design.

Ian Philips was PRG project manager with Mary Webb from PRG heading up the lighting element on site as crew chief.

"Having been involved with the LFO show since its premiere at the Brighton Festival in 2006 once again, Andrew, Mary and everyone at PRG have been extremely supportive in providing the most suitable fixtures and equipment for the show to the highest standards," says Paul Emery.

"As well as using VL1000's, PixelLines, PixelPars and ETC Source Four profiles again, this is the first time I've used GLP Impression X4's on a show and I've found their impressive light output, wide zoom range and colour mixing capabilities from warm whites to subtle pastels through to bold saturates make them a particularly versatile wash fixture.

"Along with the familiar entertainment lighting products the show also utilises some unusual light sources such as 5m candle power flashlights to illuminate mobile water tanks in one scene and dozens of LED Keyring torches attached to various props and instruments."

Andy commented, "This is an amazing show to be involved with and Paul Emery never disappoints in his Lighting designs. For both LFO and his re-light work on Stomp he really does the shows absolute justice. LFO is a must see, Completely Unique in every aspect."
