Topman's show took place at The Old Sorting Office in New Oxford Street
UK - Working with lighting designer, Petter Skramstad, PRG have provided an innovative lighting system to feature at the Topman/BFC show for Family Productions.

As part of London Collection Men's Fashion week, Topman's show took place at The Old Sorting Office in New Oxford Street.

The space featured a creative curved design with a 100m catwalk that weaved around the venue, designed by 42 Architects. PRG's Loz Wilcox, provided over 100 Chromlech Jarag fixtures, which in a break from their traditional use as a dynamic eye candy effect, were suspended above the catwalk and used as the primary lighting fixture for the collection. The luminaires were suspended from a piece of custom rolled barrel stipulating the line of the catwalk around the venue.

Continuing with the curved theme, the walls surrounding the audience were bespoke backlit cycloramas using 36 ColorBlaze 48's and 77 Pixelline 1044's, creating different ambience for the various designers by changing the colour of the walls.

Lighting designer, Petter Skramstad commented, "The Jarags provided a punchy directional light source which due to the size of the fixture and the clustering of the bulbs, actually becomes a fairly soft light source. Being tungsten is also a benefit for photography. Having control of every bulb allowed us to use some dynamic effects across the fixtures for walk-in states and the beginning and end of shows."
