Additional important features include the ability to make mirrored recordings on two hard-disks providing a simultaneous safety copy, high track counts, and the ability to connect to consoles via MADI, MADI-X, AES-3 or analogue connections.
There are three platforms for the SADiE 6 LiVE system, each of which can be configured with a range of I/O cards. On show at PLASA Focus will be the LRX2 LiVE Multichannel location workstation, which includes 64 channel DSP, a hardware front panel with moving faders and edit controls, three 'slither' audio card expansion slots and headphone and monitor outputs. In LiVE guise, it is supplied with Multi-track Recorder software (dedicated location recording software) but is also compatible with all of the various SADiE 6 software packages and can be expanded to a maximum of 48 discrete inputs or 56/64 channels of MADI.
Prism Sound will also be showing the SADiE LiVE H64, a 64-channel multitrack recorder which is supplied with MTR multitrack software. This incorporates many security features for live recording, including file preservation, disk mirroring and minimal disk requirements.
The final product from the SADiE range to make an appearance at PLASA Focus is SADiE 6, the new software-only version of the world-famous SADiE editing system. SADiE 6 operates on any computer running Microsoft Windows with ASIO compatible audio hardware, as well as existing SADiE 5 hardware platforms.
Prism Sound will complete its line-up with the award-wining Orpheus FireWire multi-track audio interface for personal recording and sound production.
