The four models HPX 900, HPX1200, HPX2400, HPX2800 with output ranging from 900 W to 2800 W using power stages in Class AB and Class H and switching power supplies, maintain clarity and definition in the high frequency range and impressive dynamics in the low end, says the company.
All of these models are capable of providing their maximum rated power on a two-ohm load, making them a very convenient source of power in even the most demanding sound reinforcement applications.
Light-weight and easily manageable, the HPX series amplifiers offer practicality as one of their primary features. Their switching mode power supplies and efficient cooling systems make them particularly suited for use in compact and portable systems and, at the same time, make them reliable and durable even after years of intense use.
A selectable LPN (low-pass notch) filter allows for improved low-frequency response, guaranteeing more punch and greater dynamics, while simultaneously protecting the connected speakers from over-excursion.
The front panel, which offers convenient, die-cast handles and a removable dust filter, provides a comprehensive system of LED status indicators and indexed level controls.
The HPX amplifiers can be employed as professional amplification systems in a wide range of applications, and are perfect for both rental companies and for high-end permanent installations.
All of the HPX models are conceived for use in powerful and versatile systems in combination with all of the Proel passive speaker lines, but are particularly adapted for use with the Neos, Net, Flash and SW series enclosures.
The entire HPX Series will be previewed at ProLight + Sound in Frankfurt, and will be shipping in the late spring of 2011.
